We were very sorry to hear that Uncle Jake passed away.
Although it did not come as a complete surprise
it always comes too soon and unexpectedly.
We will cherish all the wonderful memories and precious moments we shared
and wish you, Aunt Doreen and all your beloved, all the strength you need in these
hard times.

Condolence: In memory Jake Dyksterhuis.
We are very sad for Doreen, the children and grandchildren that Jake is passed away.
We should never forget when we visited Canada and Florida for our holidays and the good time we had together with Doreen and Jake. We remember Jake as a funny man, making jokes, a smile for everybody and of course his Dutch cooking were excellent.

Condolence: We shall remember Jake always with a big smile happily cooking his enormous Sunday morning breakfasts. Jake filled many people's lives with music and friendship wherever he want. Would that most of us lived as full and active a life as he did, both in Fort Myers and Port Severn. He shall indeed be missed but he will not be forgotten. Remember his smile and know how many people indeed cared for and loved him.
