It is with profound sadness the family announce the passing of Jose Moniz on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Maria Carama for 51 years.
Loving father of Rui (Julie), Lucia (Roger), Marta (Victor), Susana (Virginio), Francisco (Graca) and Andrea.
Cherished Vavo of Filipe, Nathan, Brendan, Nathan, Carolina, Francisco and Isabel.
Survived by his sister Maria do Carmo.

Jose's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with prayers at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon St., Kitchener on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
