Obituary for Antonio De Brito Araujo

Araujo, Antonio:
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home at the age of 97.
Beloved husband for over 71 years to the late Carminda. Loving Father of Anibal, Tony (Augusta), George (Eduarda), the late Fernando and the late Arminda. Survived by daughter-in-law Teresa and son-in-law Julio Afonso. Proud grandfather of Steven, Kenny, Jackie, Rebecca, Denis, Nelson, Nancy, Monica, Claudia, Michael, Jessica, Jennifer, Jacqueline and many great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassion and efficiency. We also thank Dr. Yew and the amazing team of nurses at Care Partners who were on call 24/7. Special thanks to our regular nurse, Donna Barker, who not only demonstrated professionalism, but also compassion and support. Also a great, big thank you to all the PSW's from the Hospice of Waterloo Region who did an amazing job.
Antonio's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 20, 2018 (today) from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (prayers at 8:00 p.m.) at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 300 Simeon St., Kitchener on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
