Rahoutis, John (Jean) Ioannis
Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Zoe for 54 years. Loving father of Angelo (Darlene) and Sam "Sotirios". Proud Papou of Stefanie and John. Dear brother of Niki (late Nick) Karageorgos and Tasos (Angeliki) Rahoutis and brother-in-law of Dimitri (Teta) Stathakis and Irene Rahoutis. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families in Canada and Greece. John was a man of integrity who loved to help people. He was very generous and an honest, hard-working man.
John's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Friday July 13, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Trisagion 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Rd., on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow at Golf's Steakhouse. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for John's memorial.
