Dear members of the Germann family, Only today, Nov. 27, I saw the notice of the passing of your dear Mom, Betty. In my years at St. Francis is was a delight to know your parents and to share in good and bad times together. I remember so well the trip we made together to Italy. Your Dad was always the life of the party, telling jokes and getting people to sing old favourite songs. Your Mom would cringe with embarrassment, which I always downplayed, as they both added so much to the experience, each in their own way. She was a gentle and gracious lady, and I send you all my sincere sympathy at her passing. She now shares in that Risen Life that she believed in, and longed for.
