Obituary for Laurie O'Brien

O'Brien, Laurie (Florene)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Kevin O'Brien (2005). Loving mother of Brenda Carey (David) of Burlington, Valerie Ryall (Bill), Kelly Maloney (Ted), Kerry Murawsky (Brad) all of Kitchener. Dear grandmother to David (Heather), Amanda, Christine (Steve), Melanie (Mark), Taylor, Brennan and Kyle. Laurie will also be missed and remembered by her great-grandchildren Charles, Jacob, Olivia and Lily.
Predeceased by her parents Julius and Ruby (nee Hoffman) Koch.

Laurie's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday followed by a reception.

Interment Woodland Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
