Courtens, Norma (nee Cook)
Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Mennonite Home on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the age of 84. Loving mother of Derrick Courtens and Cindy Meincke (Rheal Paquette). Proud Grandma of Ryan, Katerina (Fab), Hunter and Madison and great grandmother of Ruby. Dear sister of Marilyn and Ernie (late Lynn). Beloved daughter of the late Roy and Mabel Cook. Predeceased by Fernand Courtens. Norma's love of music and dance kept her young at heart. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Church. Special thanks to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home for your compassionate care of our mother.
Norma's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 and from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
