Obituary for Connie Dimitroff

Dimitroff, Constance "Connie" (nee Glady)

Passed away on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Roy (2012). Loving mother of Janice (Dale) Kuntz, the late David Dimitroff (2018) and James (Carolin) Dimitroff. Cherished grandmother of Katie and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Paul Glady (Carol) and sister-in-law of Edith Dimitroff. Predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Emily Glady, brother Robert and his wife Claudia, brother-in-law Robert Dimitroff, and sister-in-law Vera Stubbart and her husband George. Connie graduated in 1954 to become a Registered Nurse for 44 years, retiring in 1996. She was the President of the Private Duty Nursing Registry for 6 years and retired from Parkwood Long Term Care. Connie enjoyed her family, music, laughter, outdoor activities, and watching a good baseball game and old movies. She was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and would often be found singing and laughing with friends from church. Thank you to the nurses and staff at Chartwell Westmount for their loving care of Connie over her last few years. She will be remembered for her devotion to her nursing career, her family and friends, and her love of a life of giving. Connie's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 - 1:15 pm on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 with a Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church TV Ministry or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
