AIRDRIE, HAROLD A. (Sam);
Peacefully, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family at his side, on Sunday, August 07, 2005.
Harold (Sam) Airdrie, in his 64th year, was the beloved husband and best friend of Joan (Reiber) Airdrie of Kitchener. Loving father of Sandy and her husband Dave Schacht, Bonnie and her husband Jeff Young, Andy Airdrie and his wife Sheila, and Kim and her husband Scott Forwell. Cherished grandpa, papa, and pa, of Andrew and Tyler Schacht, Emily, Megan and Madeline Young, and Shayne, Wesley and Jesse Forwell. Loved brother of Ron Airdrie and his wife Pat. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Cecelia (Magnus) Airdrie and his brother Robert.
Harold's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Harold will take place Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa's Roman Catholic Church (44 Leonard St., Kitchener) on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
