Eckert, Brian Paul; Passed away at his residence on Tuesday April 12, 2011 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Donna Eckert (nee Kunda). Loved father of Brad (Jennifer), Christopher (Gloria) and James. Proud grandfather of Jeremy, Nathan, Lauren, Joshua, Julie-Anne and Luke and great grandfather of Ayla. Dear brother of Annette Meyer and Don Eckert (Sheila) and brother in law of Clara, Dorothy and Mitzie. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Matilda “Hilda”, brothers Alvin, Gerald, Dave and Bruce and sisters Florence and Rita.

Brian’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday April 15, 2011 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers at 9:00 pm. Prayers will also be offered in the funeral home on Saturday April 16, 2011 at 9:45 am followed by procession to St.Teresa’s R.C. Church, 44 Leonard St. Kitchener for Brian’s Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with cremation to follow. Father Tom Moisan officiating.
