Condolence: I want to thank you Fern for giving me one of the most special gifts in my life, besides our children. That gift is your daughter Linda. I only knew you just over 4 short years. I am certain you were an incredible loving mother and wife because I see this mirrored in Linda each day. I’m also certain you were an amazing woman because you raised such a kind, caring and loving daughter that raises Jessica and Travis the same way. Even with your one word answers you seemed to have an incredible strength, independence, wit and sense of humour that I can see in Linda. Such loving characteristics. I will never forget when we were visiting and your husband said: “Happy Anniversary Dear, but you will not remember it.” You astonished us all when you broke your silence to quickly correct Alf and very assertively tell him. “Yes, I do!” I loved hearing this answer and it made us all have a good laugh.
I will certainly miss Linda’s weekly visits with you. You will leave an aching void in everyone’s life that you have touched now that you have left this world. It is comforting to know you have crossed over the mysterious rainbow bridge and you are at rest. All your loved ones left behind will continue to cherish and share loving memories about such a beautiful woman.
