I am deeply saddened at the news of Mark's passing. Mark and I worked together over the years on various development projects and he was an absolute joy to work with. He was friendly, patient, understanding, and always had a smile on his face! I am truly blessed to having had the pleasure of working with Mark. My deepest condolences to the Sinden family.

Dear Beth I am so terribly sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. As you know, I met Mark many years ago in the Flying Dutchmen. Mark was bigger than life and WOW, what an amazing musician. He was always the most welcoming, supportive and kind person in the band and, since I was one of the youngest, it meant so much as he never dismissed the efforts of the younger members to play better. My deepest condolences to the extended Sinden family. I met Mark as a classmate at Mohawk College. We shared our love for Drum Corp and architecture. We were roommates at different times in our lives and shared in laughter, serious chats and friendship. Although distance did not allow us to keep close, I will still miss his laughter, wit and friendship.

I was going to my first NHL game and asked Mark to borrow his Leaf's jersey. He asked what game I was going to see - it was Buffalo vs Montreal - he said you can't wear a Leaf jersey to that game as you will get killed.... So I went to the game, sure enough the fans were yelling Toronto sucks (and they were not even playing!!) so I texted Mark and thanked him for saving my life. Knowing Mark has made Pete and my life that much richer - he was our brother - our friend - and will be greatly missed.

My sincere and deep sympathies to the Sinden family on the loss of Mark. I don't have enough words to express the void that will be left in so many people's lives! I will always remember him with that big authentic smile, as well as his amazingly quick wit and love of puns/jokes... among so many other wonderful traits and talents. I am forever grateful to Mark for being such a supportive and loving husband to my best friend, his wife, Bridget. For that, he will always hold a very special place in my heart. Mark will be dearly missed by so many people. He lit up a room and without him, the world is a little darker. May his spirit be somewhere continuing to spread his special brand of light! To the Sinden Family: So sorry to hear of the loss of Mark. I first met Mark when I joined Brass Act in K-W back in '93 and then ventured with him and others to the Empire Statesmen in Rochester, NY where both he and Bridget were corps-mates. So many great times and so many memories. I will cherish them all. "What we hold in memory will be in our hearts forever".
