Mark, Ed, Susan, Terry and Marilyn I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing. His sense of humor and laughter were contagious and filled your home anytime I visited. Both your parents were such good friends and role models. They always had time for the young people that came through their kitchen door. In no small way, knowing your parents helps us in our own lives, trying (everyday) to live up to their example. Your father had a way of educating, with his experience and insights, the young men we were back then. I also remember his generosity! Who else would donate his brand new car to four 18 year olds for a road trip to Florida! As I think of your Dad now, part of his smile and sense of humor is with me. I will not be able to come to KW to be with you but I wanted you to know that you and your families are in my thoughts. Sincerely, Jim Carere

Dad had "rebounded" a bit and Ed got him up in his chair for a meal - which he really enjoyed :)

I was so sorry to hear the news about your father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. I have such fond memories of my brother-in-law. One of my earliest memories of him is when he taught me how to drive. He showed so much patience. We all have such fond memories of 17 Mary St. especially the nights when Frank would get out his accordion and play it while singing in Polish. Frank did not know how to speak Polish but he sure faked it well especially after a few beers. While I can’t be there in body I am most definitely there in spirit. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love Aunt Grace

Dear Mark - I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. It's truly a passage for you and your family. I lost my mother two years ago and I feel her presence every day. I believe we all carry parts of our parents with us throughout our lives - they made us who we are today and they are inherent in our values and how we find our own paths in life. We love them so much it's hard to let go, but the memories will always remain in your heart and mind, and they will bring comfort to you. Just wanted to let you know my thoughts are with you.
