How can one adequately express the feeling you got when Uncle Gilles gave you one of those smiles of his. A hug was always welcomed and he never pulled away first. Jill and Jeff, new memories will pop up now and then and bring some comfort. He made me laugh, he was a gentleman and a very special uncle. xo

Jill it is my strong belief that there is no love quite like that shared between a father and daughter. It seems we could get away with anything - hugs were tight and we could easily make his tears flow if we wanted to,but usually we caused him to grin ear to ear. At the end of the day.......love lives on. xo

I just wanted to let you know what Gilles meant to us at the apartments where he lived. He was always entertaining us with his stories and jokes. He helped people when they needed help and gave us smiles when we needed to laugh. We all loved him very much. He is sorely missed.

So sorry Jeff & Jill for your loss & to your families as well. Your Dad was a great person who definitely enjoyed life to the fullest & he was always helpful. Caleb really took a liking to your Dad & asked your Dad if he could be his "Grandpa" & of course your Dad said "yes"! Caleb was always so excited when "Grandpa Gill" came to visit.
