After a courageous battle against cancer, with his family by his side at Innisfree House, Kitchener.

Born May 18, 1963 in Barry's Bay, ON.
Beloved husband and best friend of Drenda (nee Yantha) of 35 years.
Devoted and proud father of Cody (Kara Pacheco) and Jesse (Amber Quenneville).
Dear son of Mary and the late Stephen Lorbetskie.
Cherished son-in-law of Carmel and the late Peter Yantha.
Loving brother of Jerome (Colleen), Dan (Shirl), Brian (the late Lori), the late Leonard and Andrew (Mary).
Richard will be deeply missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Godfather to Mellissa (Cram) Seabrook and Brooke Karaba.

Richard's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Heubner Funeral Home, 43 Stafford St., Barry's Bay, ON, 613-756-2003.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ride for Dad Canada - Team: Shadywood Hooligans would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Richard was a hard-working and easy going man who loved his family and friends. He was a free bird, who enjoyed the outdoors and riding on the open road on his Harley. He was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan and a music lover. Richard was a true inspiration to all, with a positive outlook and determination that was unwavering until his last breath.
