Black, Iona (nee Beckford)
Born on March 7 1927, Iona passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Enriquet Black, and her loving sons Devon Beckford (Sonia) and Everton Black (in infancy). Iona is survived by her sons Clinton (Jamaica) and Adolphus, daughters Euline, Janette, Olga and Everlin, grandchildren Carlton, Braxton, Merline, Dwayne, Andrew, Julia, Jason, Ryan and Enriquet, and 11 dearly cherished great grandchildren.
Iona's family will receive and friends from 3-3:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Saturday at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation, followed by interment at a later date in Jamaica.
