Passed away peacefully, at Freeport Hospital, surrounded by the love of family on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the age of 80.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia Herteis (nee Busch) (November 1, 1992)

Dear father of Brenda Herteis (Robert Nancarrow) and John Herteis (Mandy).

Grandfather of Tori and Josh.

Dear brother of Albert, Anthony (Tony) Herteis, Mary McDougall (Harvey).

Brother-in-law of Carol and Arlene

Predeceased by his daughter Ann Marie Herteis (March 3, 1966), sister Johanna, brothers Joseph, Gerald and two brothers in infancy.

Norm was a long time employee of the University of Waterloo.

A private family liturgy took place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, November 1, 2019 in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home.

Private cremation with interment at St. Clements Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
