Lessard, Mildred Ann "Millie"
Passed away surrounded by her family at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, September 8, 2019, on her 86th birthday. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Lessard for over 66 years. Loving mother of Patti Wilson (John), Beth Thorne (Chris) and Mary Lessard (Greg Sasaki). Proud Grandma of Robert, David (Taleen), Marc, Megan (Kris), Patrick, Ben, Ellie and Sam and "GG" of Phoenicia, Layla, Charlie, Hayden, Kalyna and Lincoln. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce Ellis, Pat Hoadley, Margaret Tully, Jim Lessard, Pat Gray, Nancy Zettel and Tom Lessard (Rita). Predeceased by her brothers John Ellis, Eric Ellis and Winston Hoadley. Special thanks to the amazing staff at the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassionate care. Millie's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 and from 12-12:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
