Obituary for Larry McCauley Stephenson

Stephenson, Larry
Passed away with family by his side on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Debby for over 46 years. Loving father of Trevor (Van) and Travis (Patricia). Proud Grandpa of Avala, Alden and Hailey. Son of the late George and Hilda Stephenson. Dear brother of George (Suzanne). His bright smile and sense of humour will be greatly missed by his extended family and wide circle of friends. Larry was a devoted teacher who spent the last 13 years of his career at Southridge Public School. He had a passion for travel with his wife Debby, enjoying time at various beaches looking out over the water. He loved to play various sports, including hockey with the KW Daytimers as well as golf.
Larry's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 and from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date at First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Collingwood. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House or Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
