McCallum, Bruce Arthur

Passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at home at the age of 84.

Beloved husband of Florence for 62 years.
Loving father of Kevin (Joann) and Karen Anderson (Ken).
Cherished grandpa of Brad, Meghan, Tom and Samantha.
Dear brother of Gordon (Anne) and Elizabeth Powers.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bruce attended Central Collegiate in London, ON and graduated from Western University in 1956. He worked for Bell Canada, before teaching high school at Oakville Trafalgar. He went on to work at the University of Waterloo in Cooperate Education for many years and then initiated the Cooperative Education program at the University of Guelph in the early '80s. Bruce loved to travel, play golf and spend time at his cottage.

Bruce's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Light lunch will be served during visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Canada or Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Bruce's favourite line was... "Living is dangerous to your health".
