Cookman, Betty (Bruno):

Called home suddenly to her Lord on Friday, December 7, 2018, Betty Lou Cookman (Bruno, nee Wilbee) was 80 years young. Predeceased by her husband, Fred, and daughter, Roseanne, Betty is survived by her children Linda, Donna, Jim and Beth, and her extensive family including many grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all.

Betty's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Private cremation to take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society - Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family (dontations can be made at the funeral home).
