Darby, Alfred "Ed"
passed away peacefully at Clair Hills Retirement Residence on Monday, December 3, 2018 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Jane for 66 years (deceased 2011). Loving father of Jim Darby (Beth), Anne Dodd (Bill) and Sue Welna (Gary). Cherished Poppa of Chris (Mili), Steven (Amanda), Sarah and Emily (Fernando). Ed will be missed by his great-grandchildren Maddy, Jimmy, Parker, Ellie and Lily. Dear brother of Audrey, Godfrey and the late Pat. At Ed's request there will be neither visitation nor service. Private cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. Donations in Ed's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society (cards available at the funeral home).
