It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we say goodbye to one of the most kind, caring and influential men in our lives. John passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Lanark Heights Long Term Care at the age of 97.
Beloved husband of the late Maria Manoli (2011).
Loving father of Andy (Grace) of Kitchener and Dora Michaelides (John) of Mannheim and predeceased by his son Michael and his grandson Anthony of England, fondly remembered by Christine.
Cherished grandfather of John, Iroulla (Jim), Michael (Tricia), Maria (Nathan), Michael (Linda), Joanna and many great grandchildren, including his namesake Jordan with whom he was very close.
Survived by his sister Eva.
He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews in England and Cyprus.

John was a very kind soul who was loved by everyone he met. It was with a gentle heart and loving way that he touched so many lives. He devoted his life to his family and God.

A very special thank you to all the staff at Lanark Heights for the kindness and loving care shown to John over his time with them.

John's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Trisagion prayers at 7:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church 527 Bridgeport Road Kitchener on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Konstantine Chatzis officiating. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
