Jewer, Arnold James
Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Jewer (2017). Loving father of Shirley Eckensweiler (Peter), Jolene Jackson (Bill) and Keith Jewer. Proud "Papa" of Ashley Miles (Ken), Megan Jewer (Mark Briden), Corey Eckensweiler, Brandon Jewer, Mackenzie and Parker Jackson. Great grandfather of James, Sophia, William, Brody and Lincoln. Survived by brothers Norman and Bob. Predeceased by parents William and Lucy, sister Joan and brothers Rich, Clarence, Ron, Doug and Ed. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Sunnyside Home for their exceptional care over the past four years.
Arnold's family will receive relatives and friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018 and from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
