Obituary for Tom Fulmer

FULMER, Thomas Charles
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7 at Lisaard House at the age of 64.
Mourning his passing is his beloved wife, Sherry Young.

He was the youngest of 7 siblings; Mike (Christie Davidson), Roy, Keith, Dorothy Ruttan, Kae Cartwright, and Don (2001). Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Viola (Millie) Fulmer.

The highlight of 2018 for Tom was being the Honorary Ride Captain in the Grand River Chapter of the Ride for Dad, raising money for prostate cancer. What a privilege, and what a blast.

He was also the 'poster face' and advocate for the GRH OTN (Ontario Telehealth Network). Thanks for those involved in the marketing of this worthwhile project and thank you to the marketing department for asking him. It was indeed an honour and privilege. We spent so much time at the GRH Cancer unit that we truly feel like part of the family.

Music was a huge part of Tom's life and he loved music of all genres. He really looked forward to going to concerts and the annual Blues Festival with his best friend Fred.

Thank you so much to LHIN for all of the home care which helped Tom stay at home while he was able.

A huge thank you to Lisaard House for the exceptional care, compassion, and love in caring for my Tom in his final days.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
