Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 73.
Cherished mom to Diane Penner (Rod), Danny Gaudet (Linda), Zoel Gaudet (Juli Miller), Murielle Gaudet (Robert Havekes), Joanne Gauvin (Ben Melick).
Loving Grandma to Michelle Penner (Tyler), Alicia Gaudet (Dan), Ashley Krempin, (Derek), Nicholas Dietz and Cody Gaudet.
Great Grandma to Logan and Claire.
Dear sister to Lilly and Brian (deceased) Maughan, Yvette Doiron, Rita and Charles Mitton, Larry and Marilyn Doiron, Jackie and Gerald Hebert, Raymond Doiron, Al Doiron, Fernand and Sharon Doiron and Aline and Paul Smith.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary (Meunier) Doiron and her sister Noella Ryan (2016), her husband Alfred Gaudet, and Murielle (baby) in infancy.
She will be fondly remembered by special friend Pete Brezina, and her Grandcats Oliver and LuLu.
Gloria was born and raised in New Brunswick until she made the trek with her kids in tow to Ontario, where she happily raised them and continued to make them her sole priority throughout her life.
She was a dedicated employee at Northfield Metals for 24 years.
She enjoyed Bingo, fishing, listening to George Jones and simply being surrounded by her kids and family.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospice of Waterloo Region - Day Program would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
