Brine, Herbert Ronald
Passed away suddenly with his wife by his side on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Grant) for over 63 years. Loving father of Ron (Sady Katya), Michael (Diana), Jacki-Marie (Mauricio Gonzalez) and Heather (Chris LaHaie). Proud "Grumpa Grouch" of Candice (predeceased), Allan, Mackenzie Anastasia, Rhiannon, Jennifer (Matt), Joshua, Natasha, Mikey, Everett, Lauryn and great-grandfather of Ayden, Vanessa and Alexander. Dear brother of the late Thomas and Doreen. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, the Brine family in Winnipeg and his foster family in Kitchener. He was a Lance Corporal in the RCR post-war in Germany, and a foreman of Uniroyal for over 33 years.
Herbie's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m on Friday, October, 26, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers 8:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius RC Church, 11 Traynor Ave., on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
