Kuehl, Evelyn
Passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Woods Park Care Centre, Barrie. Evelyn (nee Bond) Kuehl in her 98th year was the beloved wife of the late Wilbert Kuehl (2003). Dear mother of Gary and his wife Kathy Kuehl of Barrie and the late Bryan (1978). Dear grandmother of Kristen Habermehl and her husband Dwight of Fall River, Nova Scotia, Peter Knappett of Knoxville TN, Robert Kuehl and his wife Lisa, and John Kuehl of Barrie . Great-grandmother of Caleb, Esther ,Rachel,Anna and Josiah Habermehl, Benjamin and Sophia Kuehl. Evelyn will be remembered by Dave and Ruth Knappett of Port Sydney and Bethany Knappett. Predeceased by her siblings Iola French, Ethel Bond and Desmond Bond.Survived by her brother-in-law Allen Verch.
Evelyn's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 – 1:15 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Evelyn’s life will be celebrated at 1:30 pm Saturday, in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception.
Evelyn was a member of Benton St. Baptist Church and as an expression of sympathy donations to the Missions Fund would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home and may be arranged by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home 749-8467).
