Passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the age of 86.
Loving Mom to Angela (Norm), Mark (Rochelle), Marilee (Perry), Brian (Annette) and Jeff (Susan).
Cherished Grandma Joan of Dillon, Dylan, Molly, Rebecca, Jordan, Oscar, Mackenzie and Casper.
Dear sister to Marilyn (the late Ab), Ida (John) and Becky (Michael).
Predeceased by her brother Brian.
Joan was ahead of her time. She was a strong independent career woman who enjoyed spending time with her pets, her family and her friends playing bridge.
Joan's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:30 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
