Condolence: Dear Family,
We are thinking of you at this special time of reflection and memory concerning the unexpected passing of your dear brother George. He was a faithful friend and loyal supporter of The Salvation Army and it’s mission of providing loving care to those who need it most. He was one ☝️ of the most trusted and successful volunteers of our Christmas Red Kettle Campaign. We certainly appreciated his valuable time and positive smile when greeting and thanking our donors. He enjoyed periodic times of praise and worship at our Chapel on Shade Street...the last time with his dear friend, Vera. He will be greatly missed by me and our Mission of helping others.
May the strengthening and sustaining grace of our amazing Lord bless you in all your future days. “His memory is our keepsake with which we will never part, God has George in His keeping, we have him in our hearts ♥️!”

Condolence: My deepest condolences go out to George’s family. He taught me to fish and I will always cherish those memories with him. I’ll never forget our song “She Ain’t Pretty” Keep on fishing!

Condolence: So sorry for your loss Katherine, Thomas and family. My in laws are Salvation Army officers and with the Salvation Army being a big part of my family's life, it is a blessing to many that George would give back to those in need.
