Obituary for Dennis Earl Querengesser

QUERENGESSER, Dennis
Passed away suddenly but with friends at Grand River Hospital on September 12, 2018, at the age of 76. Born in Kitchener, Dennis worked for IBM before starting his own businesses, later working with Mennonite families as a driver. Dennis was a generous, helping hand with a gift for invention and fixture, who cared in his quiet way. Dennis will be missed by his loving wife, Dianne, son, Timothy, and daughter-in-law, Angela Saveraux; brother William and sister-in-law Susie; brother Gerald and sister-in-law Heather, niece Nancy Pye and great-nephew Sebastian Pye; brother-in-law Herb Rauscher and nephew Anthony Rauscher. Dennis is preceded in passing by sister Mary Ann Rauscher, parents William and Kathleen Querengesser, and step-mother Laura Querengesser.

Dennis' family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St., Kitchener, PH: 519-749-8467). Funeral service in the Henry Walser Chapel begins with receiving guests from 10-10:45 a.m. and a celebration of life at 11 a.m., on Monday, September 17, with Rev. V.H. Hennig officiating.
