Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Freeport Hospital at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Eleanor.
Dear father of Kevin Hill (Rita) and David Hill (Patricia). Dear grandfather to Jennifer, Angela, Sasha and the late Patricia and great-grandfather of Carli, Breanne, Maxwell and Madilyn.
Dear brother of Arno Hill (Thelma), Inez Hoffman (the late Mel), Dorothy Koehler (the late Bill), Walter Hill (Gloria), and Selma Kempel (Ray.
Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Gertrude Hill, his first wife Eveline Hill (nee Leifso) and his brother Harvey and Lena Hill.
Emerson's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by a reception.
Pastor James Koellner of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Luke's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family cards available at the funeral home.
