It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luba Jeremenko, on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the age of 86. Predeceased by husbands Simon (1969) and William (2013). Loving mother of Ann McIntyre (Thomas) of Barrie, Natalie Van Schaik (John) of Kitchener and the late Victor Biluszenko (1999). Mother-in-law of Lucille Biluszenko of Hamilton. Proud Baba of Laura, Katie and Michael McIntyre, Samuel Van Schaik, and Geoff and Phillip Biluszenko. Great-grandmother of Brian, Owen, Grace, Isaiah and Gus. Dear sister of Mary and the late Alex (2018). Sister-in-law of Louise and aunt of Kathy and Nick (Diane). Our dear Baba had a kind heart and giving personality. She was fiercely proud of her family and always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. We would like to thank the staff at Lanark Heights LTC and Doon Village Retirement Home for the wonderful care they provided to our mom. Luba's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, July 8th from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday, July 9th from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service and panachyda to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 9th in the funeral home, followed by the interment at Woodland Cemetery. Father Myroslav Shmyhelsky officiating. Reception to follow in the funeral home.
