Condolence From: Elizabeth Stevens

Condolence: Sheila was a regular patron at Johnston Public Library. We are within walking distance of where she lived in Johnston, Iowa. She was a book club member and my friend. I always looked forward to Sheila's visits; she was deeply intelligent, cared about other people and loved discussing politics and books. Her absence is already felt here at the library--she will be greatly missed.

Condolence: It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my dear friend Sheila. On the afternoon of June 27, 2018 I didn't realize it would be the last phone conversation with Sheila. We laughed and chatted about political issues and exchanged stories of our children. She was looking forward to late summer and early fall visits. Please know Alex, Michael, and Nicholas you were her whole world and she was so proud of your accomplishments in life. Love, Marian and Jim McMicking
