McCabe, Joanne

Passed away, Friday, May 25, 2018 at the age of 65.

Beloved wife of Jim for 46 years. Dear mother of Michelle McCabe, Sean McCabe (Caralynne Murphy) and Lara McCabe (Nathaniel Dufresne). Loving Gummy to Ethan, Demetri, Thea, Jasmine and Julian.

Dear sister-in-law of Karen Verhoeve.

Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Mary Verhoeve and her brother Marc.

Joanne was a highly respected and well loved teacher with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.

Joanne's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467.
The Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at St. Mark's Catholic Parish, 55 Driftwood Drive, Kitchener followed by a reception and a eulogy in the church hall.

Private cremation.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
