Obituary for Lam Simon Chuol Diing

Diing, Lam (1995 - 2018)
It is with great sadness that Lam Diing was taken from us in the early hours of Sunday, April 15, 2018. Lam had faith in his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and now rests in Christ. He is the beloved son of Rebecca Goi and the late Simon Chuol Diing (2008). Loving brother of Dieng, Nyawech, Sunday, Parnaath, Chuol and Gihon. Lam loved his studies in math and economics at the University of Waterloo. He also loved football, considering the Waterloo Warriors team as family. Lam recently participated in the Regional Combine, hoping to be drafted into the CFL.
Lam's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 and from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave., on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment and reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Holy Cross Lutheran Church - Sudanese Ministry or Children of Promise Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home or at the church on the day of the funeral).
