Reis, Evelina:
Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the age of 86.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jose Reis (2018). Adoring mother of Filomena DaSilva, Lucia Costa, Jose Reis Jr. and his partner Lordes Jorge, Nelia Gomes and her husband John Gomes, and Paulo Reis. Proud grandmother of Eric Costa, Jessica Costa, Timothy DaSilva, Alyssa Gomes, Lindsay Reis, Ariena Reis and great-grandmother of Bella Moura.
Dear sister of Luis Borges, Joao Borges, Fernando Borges, Jose Borges, Alice Borges, and Angela Lima.
Predeceased by parents, Antonio and Arminda Borges, her siblings, Jose Borges, Antonio Borges, and Cremilde Reis.
Evelina's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday from 6-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's RC Church, Kitchener, on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
