Born in Serbia, October 23, 1926- Passed away in Kitchener, January 25, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Kristina at Sunnyside Nursing Home, Kitchener at 91 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Aleksandar (2006). Loving Mother of Milijana Pausak (Stevan) of Oakville, Vildana (Donna) Velemir (George) of Kitchener, and Stojan Petrovic of Kitchener. Cherished Grandmother (Baba) of Tijana McKay (Brendan), Aleksandar Pausak (Suzy), Milica Velemir-Lichti (Andrew), and Vesna Velemir. Great grandmother to Liam and Zoe McKay, and Leah Pausak. Fondly remembered by her nephew Radosav Minic and his wife Jovanka and their children Predrag (Sanja) and Jasmina. Kristina will be missed by family and friends in Serbia and Canada.
A special thank you to the devoted staff and caregivers at Sunnyside Nursing Home for their exceptional care of our Mother over the past 4 years. She will be sorely missed.
Kristina's family will receive relative and friends from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Funeral prayers in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 665 King St. N, Waterloo, on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception to follow at St. George Hall.
