Da Rosa, Armando Garcia
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Grand River Hospital on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Teresa for over 54 years. Loving father of Leona (Joe Hannon) and Sandra (Ed Hofstede). Proud Vavô of Jessi (Luis Hernández), Evan and Nolan. Dear brother of Maria Olivia, Jose Ilidio, António, Maria Honoria and the late Jorge, Manuel and Maria Odilia. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Armando's family will receive relatives and friends from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 10 a.m. followed by a procession to Our Lady of Fátima Catholic Church, 300 Simeon St., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Marymount Cemetery in Guelph. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
