Obituary for Howard Meyer

Meyer, Howard
Died peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Meyer (1995). Loving father of Heather (Richard) Kraft. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jeremy (Jen Alderdice) Harnock and Kevin Harnock.
Dear brother-in-law of Audrey Meyer.

Predeceased by his parents Alden and Wilhemina Meyer and his siblings, Edwin Meyer (Orpha), May Meyer, Florence McLellan (Alex), Ervin Meyer (Gloria), Alice Porter (Wilfred), Alvin Meyer and Carl Meyer (in infancy).

He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his nephews John and Peter McLellan for all the years of Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings around the kitchen table for coffee.

Howard's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 2-2:45 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Friday followed by a reception.
Private cremation with interment at Parkview Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or St. Matthews Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Also thanks to all the PSW's over the last number of years so Dad could stay in the comforts of his own home.
