Obituary for Elisa Benarus (Ferreira)

Benarus, Elisa (nee Ferreira):
Our beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 61.
Beloved wife and best friend of Leo for 42 years. Loving mother of Steve (Kathy) and Mark. Loving Sister of Orlanda Couto and loving Tia to Tommy, Larry, Sandra, Brian, Kevin, and Jennifer. She was beloved and will be greatly missed by her many other family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Manuel (August 13th, 2017) and Maria Albertina (August, 10th 2017).
Elisa touched so many people with her lively spirit. She loved to be around people at any festivity, especially if it involved dancing at the Portuguese Club.
Elisa's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
