Obituary for Margaret Katherine Keppler (Gehl)

Keppler, Margaret (nee Gehl):
Surrounded by her family, Margaret passed away peacefully, on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Lanark Heights Long Term Care at the age of 92.
Loving mother of Philip (Diane), Elizabeth (Ben) and Susan (Reed). Cherished Grandma of Amy (Dave), Jenny (Jay), Erica (Will), Katherine, Emily, Lisa (Jeff), Lesley (Trevor) and Adam (Kelly). She is fondly remembered as Nanny to her 11 great-grandchildren, Sophie, Xander, Braeden, Cassy, Elliot, Evie, Zoe, Nathan, Connor, Owen and Elaina. Survived by her brother-in-law, Joseph Kuhn, sister-in-law, Olga Gehl, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Nicolas and Susana Gehl, brothers, Mike, John (Doreen), and Nick (Rose) and her sister-in-law Anne Kuhn.
Margaret's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
A special thank you for her previous care at Conestoga Lodge, Lisaard House, and recently at Lanark Heights and especially to Donna and her husband Rev. John Heyer for their kindness and compassion towards Margaret.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
