Richard Ainsworth

A very nice man and an awesome teacher

In high school Mr. Ainsworth taught me English for one year. I remember him bringing in a record player to play an opera referenced in a poem we were studying. I remember him standing on a chair to read us passages with such enthusiasm. I remember him telling us it was a big and interesting world out there and to make sure we went out and saw some of it. I did. I backpacked through Europe with a fellow student the next year. His encouraging words lasted a lifetime. I am so sorry for your loss . I can only imagine the lasting impressions he gifted to his children and grandchildren and many others. sincerely Carol Johnson
