Claerhout, Hubert "Hubie"
Passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 82. Son of the late Gerard and Pharhilde Claerhout. Dear brother of Godelieve (George), Gilbert (Marilyn), Roger (Bernice), Jeanine (late Francis), Daniel (Ghislainne) and the late Willy. Survived by sister-in-law Vivienne. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family, co-workers at Marcon and friends. Private Cremation.
A visitation to celebrate Hubie's life will be held from 3:30-4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519)749-8467. Memorial service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Children's Wish Foundation, Diabetes Canada or Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
