Mike has taken his final journey, no passport or carry-on required. He leaves many loved ones to cherish their memories. His loving and loved wife of 42 years Linda (Linny) nee Becker of New Hamburg, his adored daughter Teagan McKenna (David), and 3 cherished grandchildren, Tate, Tess, and Tenley. He is survived by his father Lloyd , sister Janice (Australia), brother Lance (Edmonton) and sister Marie (Mike Sullivan) of Cambridge. Predeceased by his mother Doris, brother Steve and infant sister Sharon. He will be fondly remembered by many in-laws. Mike's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30-3:15 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519) 749-8467. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Mike's body has been donated to science. Please sign your donor cards. Please dress casual, he just wasn't a suit and tie kinda guy. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Canadian Blood Services or ChildCan (cards available at the funeral home).
