Obituary for Raymond G. Kuntz

Kuntz, Raymond:
(1938-2018)
Ray does not live here anymore, his address has been changed as of Sunday, February 18, 2018 to his heavenly home. John 14:1-3. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 61 years and best friend to Barb. Loving Dad to three children Wendy, Shelley (Al) and Dale (Jan). Cherished Grandpa to five grandchildren and great Grandpa to two great grandchildren. Dear brother of David (Mary), Tom (Sheila) and Grant (Elaine). He will also be missed by many other relatives and good friends. He was predeceased by his son Brad, brother Gordon and parents Louis and Prudence.
For many years he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing hockey with several Old Timer groups. He was an active member of Benton St. Baptist Church and over the years he was involved with teens in Boys Brigade, youth sponsorship and Sunday School teacher trying to keep them from a life he had once lived. He was always willing to share with others the hope he had in Christ. Rom. 1:16. "Only those who are prepared to die are really prepared to live."

Raymond's family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at Benton St. Baptist Church, 90 Benton St. Kitchener. Memorial Service will be held at the church on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the The Gideon's or Samaritans Purse would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 or through the church).
