Oeckel, Horst Emil:

Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10th, 2019 at his residence at Highland Place Retirement Home at the age of 86.
Loving father of Yvonne Thiede (Delio Ribeiro).
Dear friend of Patricia Townsend.
Survived by his sisters in Germany, Iris Eid and Marlit Groopler.

Horst was born in Erfurt, Germany in 1933 and immigrated to Canada in 1959.

A special thank you to the caregivers and residents at Highland Place for making him feel welcomed and loved during his time with them.

As per Horst's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
