Obituary for Joseph Pilot

Pilot, Joseph:

Passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019 at Northland Pointe in Port Colburne at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of Alfreda for 70 years.

Father of Janice Pilot and her family Michael Kakonyi and Heidi Kakonyi and Sandra Pilot.

Great-grandfather of Brody and Cooper Poulton.

Predeceased by brother Andrew and parents.

Joe retired from B.F. Goodrich in 1984 after 40 years of service. He received several awards for work simplification. He loved to fish and enjoyed many trips to Great Slave Lake.

A special thank-you to the staff at Northland Pointe for their care and compassion.

Joe's family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial reception from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery 119 Arlington Blvd. Kitchener on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Northland Pointe- Auxiliary Fund or Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
