Condolence From: Maureen Corbett
Condolence: Loretta, I’m sorry to hear the sad news that Kim’s Dad has passed away. From what you mentioned about him over the years, I have the impression that he was a lovely man with a beautiful singing voice. I remember you telling us how he very effectively used his gentle singing to calm a distraught woman in his nursing home. It was a particularly poignant story since he had reacted instinctively to help someone when he likely wasn’t capable of consciously deciding to do it. The sign of a true gentleman, I think. I also think Harry Brown must have been a man with a great attitude who embraced the idea of cottage life and surely worked very hard to ensure that his family could enjoy their wonderful getaway in Southampton. In this time of sadness, after the ‘long goodbye’ of Harry’s Alzheimer journey, I hope you, Kim, your boys, and Kim’s extended family find comfort in your best memories of your time with him. Maureen

Condolence From: Carolee Fox
Condolence: Dear Nina and family, We have so many very fond memories of Harry and the Brown family. Calvary Church is where it all started and after that Southampton Ontario! When Dana and I bought our cottage Nina and Harry were the first two people to come to see us and officially welcome us. Eventually we inherited the wood stove from their cottage living room and we still use that stove to this day. We will be thinking about Harry and send our love to Nina and Judy and Kim and Hugh and their families. Love, Carolee, Dana ,and Erin, and Jordan Fox

Condolence From: Nancy and Joe Bernardi and family
Condolence: We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, father and grandfather, Harry. He was such a warm and soft spoken man. He and Nina were one of the most welcoming people we have known. When we would visit them at their cottage, Brownhaven, Harry was always hard at work on some project in his shed. Nina, I know that Harry is now in Heaven and is very proud of the two wonderful sons and devoted daughter that you both have raised. I am also sure that all of your grandchildren have a very special guardian angel watching over them right now. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, Nancy, Joe, Sara, Anthony and JonPaul.
