Obituary for Emil Alisat

Alisat, Emil

Passed away peacefully at The Village of University Gates on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the age of 79 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia.

Beloved father of Susan Alisat (Philip Read) and Jenni Lienhart (Wayne). Dear grandfather of Tyler, Justin, Kaitlyn, Josh and Zak.

Emil will be missed and remembered by his long time companion Josephine Kennedy.

Predeceased by his brother George.

Emil's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
The memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday followed by a reception.

Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Special thanks to the staff at The Village at University Gates (Pollock Neighbourhood) for taking such good care of Poppa.
